Items We Don't Haul — Disposal Guidelines

Circa Demo & Disposal handles the vast majority of junk, demolition debris, and cleanout materials. However, some items require specialized handling, licensing, or disposal methods. Here's what falls outside our scope.

Hazardous Materials: Asbestos-containing materials (requires licensed abatement), lead paint chips or dust, chemical solvents/acids/industrial chemicals, pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers, medical waste/sharps/biohazards, radioactive materials. We identify potential hazmat during assessment and coordinate with licensed abatement specialists.

Flammable & Explosive: Full or partially full propane tanks, gasoline/kerosene/fuel oil, fireworks/ammunition, compressed gas cylinders, oil-based paints and stains (latex paint OK when dried). Empty propane tanks with valves removed may be accepted.

Electronics & Batteries: CRT monitors and TVs (tube-style; flat screens OK), lithium batteries or damaged/swollen batteries, mercury-containing items (thermostats, fluorescent tubes). Most electronics (computers, flat screens, appliances) are fine — we recycle e-waste responsibly.

Automotive & Industrial: Motor oil/transmission fluid/brake fluid, tires (more than 4; small quantities OK), vehicles or vehicle frames, industrial machinery over 2,000 lbs without prior arrangement.

Other: Soil or dirt (more than 1 cubic yard), tree stumps with root balls, hot ashes or smoldering materials, wet paint (must be dried/solidified), items requiring permits we don't hold.
