About Circa Demo & Disposal
Circa Demo & Disposal is a professional junk removal and demolition company headquartered in South Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by Andrew Costa and Marc Savatsky, Circa was built on a simple observation: the demolition and junk removal industry treats everything as waste, but most of what gets hauled to a landfill still has value — hardwood floors, copper piping, vintage fixtures, structural lumber.
Andrew Costa is a veteran demolition crew operator with years of hands-on experience across Greater Boston. He built a $250K/year operation from a single truck and now leads Circa's field operations. Marc Savatsky is a real estate developer and owner of Choose Boston Brokerage, providing a steady pipeline of renovation and cleanout projects through his real estate network. Shyam Shukla drives growth strategy and systems, combining field-proven operations with sophisticated business infrastructure.
Circa's mission: Transform the demolition and junk removal industry by treating every material as a resource — clearing spaces responsibly while creating measurable environmental and community impact.
Circa's vision: A New England where demolition waste becomes building material, where every cleared space creates opportunity, and where responsible operations are the industry standard.
Community partnerships: Habitat for Humanity ReStore (furniture, fixtures, building materials), Building Materials Resource Center (salvaged lumber, doors, windows for affordable housing), Boston Building Resources (architectural salvage for community projects), Goodwill (clothing, small items, household goods).
Circa holds MA HIC and CSL licenses, is fully insured and DOT compliant, with OSHA-trained crews certified in hazmat handling. The company serves Greater Boston including Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Newton, Quincy, and surrounding communities.
